Oh What a Feeling, Spackling on the Ceiling

Well, we've done it. We've decided to hire out the drywalling on the other half of the basement and say sayonara to the dust and debris that gets trailed onto the first and second floors (and all over the cabinets and pretty much anything else B looks at, haha). Brandon is a little bummed about it, but considering he hates drywalling, he'll get over it. He did spend a ton of time framing it out for the guys, so they had it way easier (have you seen those angles?! If you haven't you'll see more photos soon). I will say that I am so proud of the drywalling job that he did in the theatre room of our basement and I think he deserves a round of applause and a standing ovation because c'mon! GO B!

With the school semester coming to an end, I will have more time to help B with the Great Basement Cleanup (and the Great Garage Clean Out as soon as spring decides to get here). After this drywall is done and painted, we will finally be able to get rid of all the stuff (garbage, tools, and empty canisters of who knows what) in the basement. There are still more things that need to be done down there, but drywall was the biggest weight on B's shoulders. Also, we're hoping to hear from Lowe's soon so we can get an exact date the carpet will be installed.

I also want to give another shout out to B for taking over the blog these past few weeks and doing such a wonderful job at going into detail about everything that we've been doing. I hope you're all enjoying the posts (I know I am)!
